On a recent trip into the outback of New South Wales (via Uralla) I came across these forms advertising.
Not being keen on guns I did find it amusing (and a bit disturbing) to link the selling of guns and the selling of toys in the one shop, Hunting Haven. Are guns and toys one and the same in some people’s minds?
The Cobar butchery is a delight. Beautifully tiled facade advertising their products. The advertising looks like it dates back from the build date of 1910. What I did not get was the word family next to carcass. Interesting combination. Still wondering.
The last one is just pure fun at Silverton. Australian humour at its best.
